Report on the work of making a drilling Onon by the Company "The ETS ZIEJANG GEOPHYSICAL PROSPECTING" based in Yaounde


Onon is a village in the district Oveng, Department of Dja and Lobo, Southern Region in the Republic of Cameroon to 28 km and 60 km Oveng Borough Djoum.
This village cruelly suffered from lack of drinking water seen large population consists of young people, women, and men.
Funding for the said project was sought by the ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF HUMANITARIAN IN CAMEROON (APAHC) which is an NGO working for the supervision of the poor through four (o4) program viz.
1 "Awareness, Entertainment, Training" Program
2 "Literacy-Education" Program
3 Programs "Health and Housing Improvement"
4 "Agro-pastoral" Program
The APAHC in its "Health and Housing Improvement" program has a health center in the village of Onon.
The implementation of the said project was funded by AGIRacd French NGOs.
The Company adopted for the implementation of said drilling was first raided in the field for various technical studies. This descent has enabled the Company to recognize all the contours and see all the details so that the drilling is done in good conditions.
The Company "GEOPHYSICAL PROSPECTING ETS ZIEJANG" arrived at the Onon 08/07/14 in the evening and once on the morning of 08/08/2014, the work began.
The first drilling phase was achieved that the first body of water to ten (10) meters. This water is not good, it was necessary to continue drilling happened on a hard rock but was indeed penetrate to achieve a better body of water 55 meters deep.
After reaching the first body of water, the second step was laying the pipes and stop work for a week and a half.
After this was the third phase was to ask the hand pump. This pose is very smoothly and already the village of Onon already has a drill that gives drinking water to people. What a relief and joy.
The APAHC was represented and assisted in implementation of the said project by one of its members in the person of Miss Jacqueline Nyangono.
