The Association for the Promotion of Humanitarian Action in Cameroon (APAHC) is an organization of civil society (OSC), which works for the development of disadvantaged populations, especially the Baka and other disadvantaged layers.
Development must be the concern of all and especially of the people concerned themselves.
This emergency action to humanize the lives of pygmies boroughs Djoum, Oveng and Mintom. She wants is to improve driver and part Pygmies living in this region of South Cameroon and the other poor, marginalized and disadvantaged.
The issue of education of pygmy arises at all successive governments at the head of Cameroon. The missionaries attempted more or less successful experiments, NGOs and the state too. The problems of monitoring pygmies which is engaged in school have no issue in the workplace. It is therefore interesting to know what is to send the Bakas to school if their future after their studies is not assured. In a world where everything moves, the mutation of each and all is essential. But it should guide each other on futuristic tracks and not vicious. The Baka prominently in national and international life, but this is not enough to make them happy. As long as they are marginalized, as they will not be reassured by the State, as we do not listen, so they will not have a job after graduation, the problem will remain and will weigh around our consciences. He can not have a healthy management of the tropical environment without fulfillment of the people who live there.
For some time, pygmies are becoming more stable in the camps is selected forests some talk pygmy villages.
The apahc during the months of October, November and December 2014 conducted a very thorough study and found that the situation is worrying, very worrying and that only a well-adapted training will exit the pygmies of their isolation. It is necessary to establish training centers to enable them to learn basic manual trades: masonry, electrical, plumbing, welding, mechanics for boys, sewing and computer for girls etc ...
This study proposes a pilot training center that can be replicated in other regions. The project will be conducted in collaboration with the pygmies as "SCHOOL SITE" supervised by instructors with extensive experience. The trainees will receive theoretical and practical training in the field. The apahc, for the said project to be realized in the village KEKA, district Djom-esse district Sangmélima, Dja and Lobo, Cameroon South Region. Has already acquired a land of one hectare (10,000 m²), the paperwork is being established. We have held several meetings with the people of that village, the village chief and the sub-prefect of the district of Sangmélima in order to think more carefully for the success of the project.
On December 16, 2014 we attended the ceremony transcripts of students Ndjom-Esse Public School, a school that receives donations from APAHC school supplies as part of the partnership ADRA BELGIUM - APAHC . It was on the occasion of the end of the first quarter of the 2014-2015 school year. This field visit allowed us to see and gauge the effectiveness and importance of the gifts we offer to schools.
It was very encouraging because the results were better. We have awarded the best students (1st of each class of the CMII sil).
From 6 to 9 December 2014 a team from the APAHC traveled all schools supervised by the APAHC for the after the distribution of school supplies in September 2014. It was found that the supplies that we give to students of a very important contribution, and the results are encouraging.
A public school Bityel we met three parents who enrolled their children to school after our visit to the distribution of school supplies in September 2014. These children had virtually no school supplies. Concerned about the situation we are committed and paid their school supplies.
On 20 and 21 December 2014 the APAHC with some guests agencies and certain senior managers of developments, leaders of farmers' organizations that we support have made the assessment days that were designed to see how APAHC's activities were conducted January-December 2014 (Evaluation) that had to be APAHC appreciate what makes good, criticizing what is not well done and propose solutions. The two days of work have allowed participants to show officials APAHC the right way forward for the success of their business. The president of the APAHC Mrs. Marie Alem Ndjemba thanked the participants for their availability, their participation and outspoken for the proper functioning of the APAHC and urged them to go forward.
The APAHC also conducted a drill in the month of August 2014 in the village of Onon, Oveng-Fang District. Said drilling a management committee has been set up and youth have been trained to drill maintenance.
